As our hydrogen facility takes shape, the operations team that will run it is already getting to work.
Here, Luke Francis, Production Manager at Stegra, shares a few thoughts as he checks out one of our cell rooms together with Oskar Forsmo, Process Engineer, and Sofia Tiainen, Process Operator.
Once completed, our green hydrogen production facility will produce more than 100,000 tonnes of green hydrogen annually using alkaline water electrolysis. The hydrogen will be used to reduce iron ore into sponge iron, a key step in the green steelmaking process.
