"Before moving here with my wife, I spent more than a decade working in the mining industry. When I saw that Stegra was looking for mechanics, it immediately felt like this is a chance to be part of something meaningful.

Right now, we’re in the early stages, focusing on getting everything ready for operations – from planning and checks to building systems from the ground up. Once the plant is running, our work will span everything from motors and bearings to conveyors and furnace systems.

It’s a technically demanding environment, which I really enjoy, but what stands out the most is the people. There’s a strong sense of positivity here, with colleagues from all over the world, all pulling in the same direction. You really feel the teamwork every day."
