“When I speak to my friends and family in Germany and tell them that I can commute to the office by boat, everyone is jealous. They can’t believe it! The same goes true for my role at H2 Green Steel – a unique opportunity to be part of the financing of a large greenfield steel plant in Europe.

I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of this unprecedented financing that will have the potential to reshape an industry, which will be a fundamental step for the decarbonization of industry.

With all our funding partners, we have worked as one team and have together broken new ground to find innovative solutions and structures. It has certainly not been without challenges, and we have been through ups and downs, but at every point of the journey we have felt tremendous support and willingness from all stakeholders to make this huge project happen.

My move to Stockholm with the family has been an exciting journey as well, and we are so happy with the decision. Not only can we go to school by boat, we can also walk to the nearest ski hill and together enjoy free time outside in nature.”
