Whistleblowing
Introduction
Putting safety first, acting ethically and being compliant are all central to our business principles at Stegra. With that comes the responsibility to speak up and report any suspected misconduct. By doing so, we set the foundation for a fair and non-discriminatory work environment, safeguard against criminal and unethical behaviour and protect our own and our stakeholders’ integrity. We expect all those involved to have an open dialogue and raise issues in a transparent manner. You as a reporter will always be protected, regardless of whether you are anonymous or open with your identity.
Reports may concern
Reports submitted through the Whistleblowing Channel should concern information on work-related irregularities or suspected misconduct at Stegra, in which there is a public interest in them being resolved.
This means, for examples, information about suspected fraud or corruption, environmental risks or crimes, violations of competition laws, security vulnerabilities, discriminatory work practices or harassment, the use of forced labour or other violations of human rights, or other violations of Stegra's Code of Conduct.
You don’t need evidence to file a report in the Whistleblowing Channel, but you should have reasonable grounds to believe that the information you report is true.
Issues related to workplace dissatisfaction
If you as an employee would like to raise issues related to workplace dissatisfaction or such related matters, we encourage you to direct these to your supervisor or manager. If issues concern your manager, these can instead be raised to his or her manager or to a member of the People and Organizational team. These issues are not treated as whistleblowing cases.
Issues related to our site in Boden
If your report concerns health and safety issues on site, we encourage you to report this via the HSSE reporting tool Intelex. If your report concerns community grievances, e.g. noise or air pollutions, traffic on non-designated roads, etc., you should submit your report through our Community Grievances mechanism.
